IC
Name: Jeong-Shin Na
Age: 17
Game Handle: EVE
Canon: Elsword, Eve

Appearance: PICTURE

With the robotic ears/headjewel being some sort of fancy accessory she'll pick up later on, like an armoured headband/earmuff combo or whatever.

Personality:
Eve is a very reserved, unsocialized girl. Though she doesn't dislike human contact, she's much more used to spending her time alone with machines and computers. As a result, her conversational skills are quite lacking. Around most stranger she tries her best to be polite, if awkward, and becomes very easily flustered. When nervous, she tends to ramble, repeatedly correcting her choice of wording as she fumbles her way through conversation (especially her own rambling, thus creating a potentially endless cycle of corrections and apologies). Eve always puts forth her best, eager to impress others and earn their praise. However, she feigns an amount of indifference to nearly everything, even when it's painfully obvious she's bluffing (ie. when she's flustered beyond belief). For whatever reason, she wants people to believe she's a cold and logical person, even though she's quite warm and caring deep down.

Though she's far from a genius, Eve is a very intelligent girl with an excellent memory and a sharp strategic mind. She has a natural knack for programming and machinery, and her hardworking attitude allows her to excel at nearly anything she sets herself upon. She has a very logical mind, thinking over her actions and decisions rationally and scolding herself for acting on impulse and emotion.

Despite her timid appearance, Eve is anything but shy. She doesn't hold back when she wants to speak her mind. She isn't afraid to defend herself, or beat the living daylights out of another person if they provoke her. Outside of social situations, where she tends to fumble with her words, her pokerface is nearly impenetrable. She has a powerful, confident aura about her, and while she is not inclined to kill other players, the detached way she presents herself is usually enough to convince her opponents otherwise.

Lastly, Eve has a bit of an odd way of speaking. She sometimes refers to herself in third-person, as a sort of mental separation between "herself" in the outside world and "EVE" in the game. She also tends to start some sentences with statements (ie. hypothesis, theory, inquiry, etc.), kind of like a computer program.

AU History:
Jeong-Shin was born into an upper-class family in South Korea. Her father was the founder of a large tech company, NASOD corp., specializing in robotics and AIs. For almost a decade, NASOD corp. was a cutting edge company, known all over the world for its advancements in robotics. However, in the past few years the company ran into unexpected financial trouble. Though her father did everything he could to keep the company afloat, in the end NASOD was forced to shut down. The family's wealth declined as well, as her father had to take a much lower job to support them. Though he tried to get money from investors and loans to revive the company and his dream, he was turned down again and again until he was finally forced to give up.

However, Jeong did not give up. From a very young age she had taken great interest in her father's work. While most girls her age would play with dolls and stuffed animals, Jeong spent most of her time building circuits and, by the time her peers were discussing fashion and romance she was busying herself building machines. After NASOD's downfall, her interest in robotics only increased. She continued designing, programming and building in her spare time, hoping to someday make some breakthrough in technology that would sway potential investors. Since then, she's been working endlessly on a design for an intelligent, mobile robot for use as a companion or assistant. Though her mechanical work was precise, she quickly became dissatisfied with her AI programming. She took an interest in gaming, since any good video game included intelligent AIs as NPCs and enemies. When SAO was still in beta testing, she heard enough rave reviews of the game's realistic environment and NPCs to convince her it was worth looking into.
